Tan Washed Coffee Table

This solid wood Queen Anne-style coffee table was completely refinished to create a lighter, more natural finish while preserving the character and grain of the original wood. The existing finish was chemically stripped from the entire piece before the table was carefully sanded back to bare wood. An 80/20 paint wash using Fusion Mineral Paint in Algonquin was applied to soften and even out the natural color variation in the wood while allowing the grain to remain visible. The piece was then finished with Briwax in Light Brown, adding subtle warmth and depth to the final finish.
